Performing Has Purpose
A Resourceful Writer
Before she was mothering Performance Priestesses, Chibuzo was a girl who wanted to tell stories.
As soon as she could pick up a pencil, she began creating worlds.
In quiet moments outside the turbulence of her home, she filled notebooks and stray sheets of paper with characters and scenes — building, by the age of seven, a humble but abundant library of imagined lives to keep her company.
From early on, she understood something instinctively:
Stories could change the way reality was experienced.
Determined simply to become “an artist,” whatever that meant, she disciplined herself through many forms of creation — drawing, painting, writing — searching for the medium that could best carry her voice.
At sixteen, she stepped onto the stage for the first time.
The theatre answered.
Almost immediately, Chibuzo was captivated by the spell of performance, the rare space where strangers gather in shared attention, where stories break open the walls separating people from one another and from deeper truths.
It was here that storytelling became embodied.
And the wheel was set in motion.
From Stage to Screen
The pursuit of story carried Chibuzo through high school and university, deeper into performance and eventually into directing.
Rather than accept the limits placed on actors by cultural convention, she sought out roles and studies that expanded the possibilities of narrative itself—from playing against type to studying the technical language of film.
To understand a story, she believed, one must eventually learn how to shape it.
By 2022, that persuit culminated in the writing, casting, and production of her first film.
A work dedicated to her father, the project quietly laid the foundation for what would later become Transformation Theater™ and the embodied methodology known as The Character Activation ™.
In 2023, Chibuzo stepped back briefly from filmmaking to explore the wider terrain of entrepreneurship and spiritual practice — disciplines that deepened her understanding of how stories shape identity, culture, and personal destiny.
By the end of that year, her work across artistic forms led to a partnership with Nina Nesbitt of Industry Direct Models and Talent, where she continues expanding her creative presence as a New York-based print and commercial model.
In 2024, the body of work known as By Chibuzo formmally emerged — a living archive of artistic and spiritual explorations that had begun years earlier.
What had once been separate pursuits were beginning to reveal themselves as parts of a singlular philosophy.
The Era of the Multi-Faceted
Chibuzo’s work sits at the intersection of art, storytelling, and transformation.
Through determination, faith, and an unwillingness to accept limitation, she has continued grounding vision into reality, exploring how performance can be used not only to tell stories but to reshape the roles people believe they must play.
Her work speaks to artists who refuse confinement by industry expectations or cultural narratives.
To those who sense that creativity is not simply expression, but authorship.
Heed the Philosophy:
Allow no one to put a ceiling on what you can do, or who you may become. You are the channel through which reality moves. Through you, creation finds form. Tell your story. Claim all that you are. And if you don’t like the role you have been given —
Rewrite it.
